How to Use Playbooks
Quick Start Guide
1. Build Your Playbook
Select “Create New Playbook” and choose your starting point:
- Upload Example Contracts: Provide recent agreements, forms, or templates to guide the AI.
- Custom Instructions: Simply describe the agreement type and which party you represent.
Draftwise will immediately generate your rules. You can refine these at any time by providing more specific instructions or examples. Once ready, name your playbook and hit “Save.”
2. Run and Review
Upload a document to see your playbook in action. Draftwise will automatically analyze the text and apply redlines based on your rules.
- Audit: Click any rule to see the explanation and legal citation.
- Edit: Double-click the document to make manual adjustments directly.
- Export: Click “Download” to get your fully marked-up document.
3. Adjust Your Stance
Need to change your negotiation strategy? Use the dropdown next to your playbook name to toggle between “Always Preferred” and “Favor Fallback.”
4. Save Your Work
To keep your playbooks after the trial, go to the main Playbooks page, click the three dots (⋮) next to your playbook, and select “Download.”
